The following is a detailed introduction to the ball valve:1. Basic structure and working principle- Core components:- Ball: A spherical valve core with a through hole in the middle. The diameter of the through hole is usually the same as the inner diameter of the pipe (full diameter) or slightly smaller (reduced diameter).- Valve seat: A sealing ring (commonly made of PTFE, metal and other materials) to ensure the seal between the ball and the valve body.- Valve stem: Connects to the handle or actuator to transmit the rotational force to the ball.- Operation method:- The handle can be rotated 90° (1/4 turn) to achieve full opening or full closing, and quick opening and closing.- Some designs support flow adjustment (by controlling the rotation angle of the ball).2. Main types- Classification by structure:- Floating ball valve: The ball is supported by the valve seat, and the medium pressure pushes the ball to press the valve seat to achieve sealing.
